The Craft Guild was founded in 1948 to provide instruction and studios for artists and craftspersons, to raise the standards of craftsmanship and design by offering exhibitions and competitive show opportunities, and to stimulate interest in the fine arts and crafts through community outreach. They offer classes in bookbinding, clay, drawing & painting, glass, jewelry-metalsmithing, and beading, as well as workshops in these media and others. The Guild also offers summer camp courses for kids in clay, mixed media, and painting. The work of the artists is open to the public and on display at Visit Addison, showcasing the many and diverse talents of the students and instructors, some of which is for sale in The Store at Visit Addison.
Front Desk and Gallery Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00-6:00, Saturday 10:00-5:00. For more information, please visit http://www.craftguildofdallas.com/ to view their current scheduling of classes, workshops, and events.
