For the past 21 years, Addison visitors, staff, residents and businesses have enjoyed the annual Taste Addison tradition. This celebration of food, that started as a one-day event with 20 of Addison's best restaurants, has transformed into a three-day festival of all things food and music highlighting 70 of Addison's most exciting dining options and reaching more than 60,000 visitors. Taste Addison has truly been a labor of love for not only Addison staff and the restaurant community, but for a dedicated roster of vendors, contractors and artists.

Just as Taste Addison transitioned from a small community event to a large-scale, nationally known festival, it is now time for Taste Addison to evolve again to meet the needs and wants of our current and target visitors, residents and businesses. Addison is very excited to announce its newest culinary endeavor, Fork & Cork, A Celebration of Taste...

This two-day culinary event, May 16 - 17, invites guests, ages 21 and up, to sample some of the best local food and music Addison and the Dallas/Fort Worth area have to offer. Attendees will get their hands dirty with interactive cooking classes and then treat their palettes to delicious bites from top restaurants and wine, beer, spirit and specialty food vendors. Guests can also channel their inner sommelier or brew master by imbibing in wine and craft beer seminars from local greats. Featured talent for this two-day smorgasbord include internationally acclaimed, James Beard Award winning chef, Marcus Samuelsson and Texas county music legend, Pat Green. The most exciting component to this new event concept is the emphasis that will be put on creating a unique and interactive experience for our guests that includes everything from food and art to the seating and lighting used throughout the park. It is truly an event for the epicurious!

Sincerely,
Addison Special Events Staff
