Discounted rid pass available on Thursday. Proceeds benefit the Addison Business Association charities. Coupons are $1.00 each. Cavanaugh Flight Museum: One of the largest collections of flyable warbirds in the country, with over 30 aircraft on display. Guided tours and group rates are available. Massage Corporation: Check out the latest massage products or enjoy a relaxing seated chair massage for only $1 per minute. On the Rock: Test your skills on the 24-foot rock-climbing wall! It is designed to be safe, challenging and fun! It includes three levels of difficulty for a new challenge each time. It costs $5 for the first climb and $3 for the second climb. Also featured in the children's area is a giant slide for $1 and a bounce house for $2. Paintball Alley Creative Caricatures Sand Art: Create your own Festival memories! SPCA of Texas: Adopt a friend from the SPCA of Texas. Check out the great pets from SPCA. They would love to be your new friend. Weingarten: A traditional German Weingarten featuring an array of German wines including Riesling and Liebfraumilch plus regional and specialty wines such as Sekt (the German answer to champagne) and Eiswein (a rare desert wine made from the very last grapes of the harvest). Guests can purchase wine in individual samples, a 6 sample selection or by the glass.
Tom Thumb Run for the Children 1 Mile Fun and Addison Oktoberfest 5K - Saturday, September 20. The Fun Run starts at 8:00 am and the 5K starts at 8:30 am. Each registered participant will receive a t-shirt, post-race party and free admission to Addison Oktoberfest on race day. Eddie Coker will perform a live concert at 9 am for all registered participants. Entry fee for the Fun Run is only $10 per person! Proceeds benefit Wipe Out Kids' Cancer, a non-profit organization dedicated to eradicating pediatric cancer by funding innovative research, education and treatment, while providing hope to children affected with cancer. |
