About Taste Showcase
Taste the local flavors of a dozen top chefs as they showcase their talents and share their cooking expertise at Taste Showcase during Taste Addison. Taste Showcase offers the ultimate culinary how-to experience and sampling celebration at the Addison Conference Some of the area's top chef's will present hourly cooking demonstrations on a state-of-the-art Viking Kitchen.Each chef will demonstrate a culinary creation while guests are encouraged to interact and ask questions while the delicacies are sampled.

| For the fourth year in a row, the Robert Mondavi Discover Wine tour will be bringing the Napa Valley wine country experience to Taste Addison. The nationwide tour honors Mr. Mondavi's interest in wine education and in integrating wine, food and the arts as a part of gracious living. Visitors will learn about cooking and wine through a highly interactive approach including food demonstrations, wine seminars and tastings. The tour includes wines from Robert Mondavi Private Selection and Robert Mondavi Winery portfolios. Guests of the Robert Mondavi Discover Wine tour will enjoy a sensory and educational experience that will enhance an appreciation of wine. Robert Mondavi wine education staff will engage patrons with live cooking demonstrations and wine seminars to help visitors sharpen their wine knowledge and entertaining skills as well as allowing them to taste through the family of wines. |  |
| Emmy Award-winner Ted Allen is one of America's favorite food and wine experts. Host of "Food Detectives" the primetime series on the Food Network, he has also been a judge on Bravo's "Top Chef" and Food Network's "Iron Chef America" and is host of the PBS series "Uncorked: Wine Made Simple." Ted was the food and wine specialist on the groundbreaking, Emmy-winning Bravo series "Queer Eye," which had a 100-episode run. He is author of "The Food You Want to Eat: 100 Smart, Simple Recipes" (Clarkson-Potter), a cookbook that features easy, seasonal recipes. Ted serves as the Food and Wine Ambassador for Robert Mondavi Private Selection wines, offering advice related to these popular wines, including how best to pair them with food.
