Texas Music Project's Lone Starz Rising10 young singer/songwriter finalists will take the spotlight on Sunday at the Bowl Stage to compete for great prizes
Sunday, May 11 Young musicians and bands who think they have what it takes to make it to the top have a chance to prove it in Texas Music Project's Lone Starz Rising Talent Contest. The fifth annual showcase is currently accepting submissions online at www.ourstage.com. There is no cost to enter and the online competition continues through April 21. Ten finalists will compete live on May 11 on the Bowl Stage to win a great prize package including an opportunity to play on the Bud Light Main Stage at Kaboom Town, a professional recording sesson on the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus, $1,000 grant for music education for the winner's school and more! Six of the 10 bands have already been selected. The other four bands will be selected from the April on-line contest. Here are the finalists so far: |
