Frequently Asked Questions about Taste Addison 2010

Can I bring my own lawn chair?
No, we ask that you do not bring your own chairs from home to the festival. Blankets are allowed. 

Are dogs or other animals allowed on the festival grounds?
No, dogs or other animals are not allowed on the festival grounds.  The SPCA will have animals for adoption but the animals must leave the grounds once they are adopted.

What other admission restrictions are there?  
Animals (except those providing visual assistance), skateboards, bicycles, motorized scooters, chairs and coolers may not be brought on to the festival grounds. 

Is Taste Addison rescheduled if it rains?
Taste Addison is a rain or shine event. Music acts may be postponed due to inclement weather, but will not be rescheduled for an alternative weekend.

Do I need to purchase tickets to buy food and drinks at the event?
No, Taste Addison is a cash event and ATM's will be onsite.

Are there ATM's on the festival grounds?
Yes, 7 ATM's are located throughout the festival grounds.  Please look in the event brochure for specific locations. 

Are there any road closures for Taste Addison? If so, when? 

      Quorum Drive from Arapaho Road to Addison Circle will close Thursday, May 20 at approximately 3:00 pm and will re-open Sunday, May 23 before midnight. Please use Addison Road or the Dallas Parkway as an alternative route.

      Spectrum Drive from Arapaho Road to McEntire will close Friday, May 21 at 3:00 pm and will re-open Sunday, May 23 before midnight.  Please use Addison Road or the Dallas Parkway as an alternative route.

      Addison Circle Drive from Addison Road to Witt Place will close on Tuesday, May 18 at 9 am and will re-open on Tuesday, May 25 before noon.  Please use Morris Road or Arapaho Road as an alternative route.

      Festival Way from Addison Road to Quorum Drive will close Monday, May 17 and will re-open on Tuesday, May 25 before 5 pm. Please use Arapaho Road as an alternative route.

Is the festival ground handicap accessible? Where is handicap parking?
Yes, there are permanent-paved pathways that run throughout the event site.   Handicap parking is available at the DART Transit Center located at the northwest corner of Arapaho Road and Quorum Drive.

How much are the carnival rides?
All rides range from $3 - $7 each.

Are there any discount admission tickets? 
Yes, discount tickets are available at any DFW Albertsons store. While you are there
 stop by the customer service counter to pick up an entry form to win a trip for two to Napa Valley. Trip includes round-trip airfare for two from DFW to SFO, 2 night's hotel accommodations, transportation, and a VIP tour and tasting at the Robert Mondavi Winery.
