WorldFest 2013
Since 2008, the Town of Addison and the World Affairs Council along with our amazing cultural partners have offered visitors a peek into some of the most vibrant international cultures in North Texas. Visitors to Worldfest could “travel the world in a weekend,” celebrating music, art, food and fun—and sampling the voices and personalities of more than 70 countries.

Over the past five years, Worldfest has evolved, so we have decided to shift our mission. This new concept will allow visitors a deeper exploration of a single country, its people, its culture and its significance in the world community.

Beginning in 2013, Worldfest will focus on one specific country, leading off with China. Growing out of a single weekend event, Worldfest instead will now feature a series of multi-faceted mini-events and activities designed to offer an intensive year-long journey into a single country and its culture.
