Turkish American Association of North Texas (TURANT) showcases the best Turkish Cuisine from a wide variety of Turkish food vendors:  Shish Turkish Cuisine, Shine's Market and Turant's bakery. You will enjoy tasting delicious doner kebap, adana kebap, borek, baklava, dolmas, humus and many more dishes.  A pair of tickets on Turkish Air to visit Istanbul, the crossroads of cultures, will be raffled!

Dance & Music performances
Award winning Turkish folk dancers - the Trabzon Imece Folklor Group - will perform from different regions of Turkey. All the way from Turkey, pop stars Davut Guloglu and Ahmet Cosar will perform for the first time in North Texas - at TurkFest. 

Tea and Coffee House 
Traditional Turkish tea and coffee, with fortunetellers on hand to read your past and your future from the shapes of the coffee grinds. 

Culture and Tourism  
In the culture and tourism tent you will explore the varied and breathtaking regions of Turkey and its rich history and culture. 

Turkish Bazaar  
For important events such as weddings, big family gatherings as well as daily and random needs, you can purchase sterling silver jewelry, hand crafted arts and crafts, carpets, kilims, and more. Also, enjoy a demonstration of paper marbling and tinting. 

Kids Tent 
Our many activities for children include puppet making, painting, story telling, games, and jewelry making.
