The Bulgarian American Cultural Center "Bulgare" was established by volunteers with a passion for preserving and promoting Bulgaria's vibrant, thirteen-centuries-old cultural heritage. Our mission is to foster awareness, understanding and appreciation of the wealth of Bulgarian historical and cultural heritage by offering a diverse selection of quality cultural experiences through artistic expression in education and the visual and performing arts.

"How to make organic yogurt at home" workshop; Bulgarian folk dances, world-renowned for their beauty and complex choreography, presented by folk ensemble "Lyush". You will find traditional Bulgarian food specialties, prepared by Simantis - well known among Bulgarians in the Metroplex. You will have the rare opportunity to buy Bulgarian rose oil which is the main ingredient for making the finest World class perfumes."

Bulgarian Folk Ensemble "Lyush" Folk ensemble "Lyush" of The Bulgarian American Cultural Center "Bulgare" performs traditional Bulgarian folk dances. Bulgarian folklore dance has survived through the centuries in remote towns and villages in Bulgaria and gained tremendous popularity in the United States in the 60s and 70s.  The group has appeared at many festivals and events all over Texas and in Oklahoma.
