Unique instruments create the original sound and experience of Gnawa like the large heavy iron castanets known as qraqab (or krakebs) and a three -string lute called a hajhuj (or gimbri).

Moroccan Orchestra

"The orchestra Moroccan Fattah" performs internationally to educate and create appreciation for ancient Andalusian music. Several instruments including oud (lute), rabab (rebec), darbouka (goblet drums), taarija (tambourine), qanun (zither) and kamancheh are featured in the orchestra.
