ENTERTAINER BIOS

Acrobats of Hebei China - a "must see" production that combines Chinese traditions, incredible acrobatics, stunning costumes, Chinese props, and a beautiful soundtrack. Ranging in ages from 19 - 25 and trained from childhood in acrobatics, the acrobats are marvels of what the human mind and body can accomplish. Performances such as Chinese Poles, Hoop Diving, and Happy Chef are based on Chinese tradition and have been handed down through generations. They are talented and disciplined athletes who have entertained the world by performing an awe-inspiring spectacle leaving audiences amazed and delighted in South Africa, the South Pacific, Korea, the United Kingdom, and now in the United States.

University of Ege Conservatory Folk Dance Group - Direct from Turkey for their American debut, the three-time world champion Turkish folk dancers from the University of Ege will perform a variety of dances from different regions of Turkey and their famous Sari Seybek play that will take you back from the Canakkale victory to the last days of Ataturk.  The dances are choreographed with the motifs of typical behaviors and traditional occasions of notable events, including the Turkish wedding.

The Killdares - Blending traditional Celtic playing skills, power-pop accessibility, and straight up rock 'n' roll hooks, The Killdares have created a fresh new sound that's blended with enough commercial edge to be instantly recognizable, always engaging, and appealing to fans of all ages. Their live shows are filled with an infectious energy so powerful that it has been known to move people to tears. Even die-hard fans of purely traditional Celtic music have embraced the band's powerful genre-bending sound.

Brave Combo - Trying to describe Brave Combo's music requires a pretty extensive vocabulary - at least when it comes to musical styles.  For the past three decades the Denton Texasbased quintet has perfected a world music mix that includes salsa, meringue, rock, cumbia, conjunto, polka, zydeco, classical, cha cha, the blues and more.  They are America's Premier Dance band and a rollicking, rocking, rhythmic global journey - offering what one critic recently wrote, "Even if you come for the party, you'll leave with something of a musical education."
