DATES, HOURS & PRICES
Addison Kaboom Town! is always held on July 3rd from 5 PM - Midnight.  The watching party at Addision Circle Park is a free event; you will need a FREE TICKET to enter the park.  
Some of the restaurant and hotel watching parties may charge a seperate fee.  The fireworks will be launched at dusk (approximately 9:30 PM).  

Re-entry is NOT guaranteed. Leaving the event site prior to the conclusion of the event is not recommended if you wish to come back later.

 

LOCATION
The fireworks are launched from an area north of Belt Line Road and west of Addison Road are are choreographed to music and simulcast on
100.3 JACK fm.  The fireworks can be seen from just about anywhere in Addison and many hotels and restaurants host special watching parties.  There is also a watching party at Addison Circle Park. 

Addison Circle Park, 4970 Addison Circle Dr.  The main entrance is located at the corner of Quorum Drive at Addison Circle Drive near the large Blueprints sculpture.   Gates open at 3:00 PM.

ADMISSION POLICIES & PROCEDURES - ADDISON CIRCLE PARK
NEW -- All bags, coolers and containers will be searched.  If possible, please leave these items at home to avoid delayed entry.

Items Allowed:

Bags not to exceed 12"x12"x6"

Coolers not to exceed 16"x20"12"

Food and Snacks for Picnics

Personal Umbrellas, not to exceed 65" in Diameter

Collapsible Chairs

Small Portable Radios

Binoculars

Medically-Necessary Supplies

Baby Supplies

Prohibited Items:

Any bag or cooler exceeding the dimensions posted above (Bags, 12"x12"x6" / Coolers 16'x20"x12")

Computers or Laptops

Fireworks, Sparklers or laser pointers

Oversized chairs exceeding 24"x37"x40" or lawn or household funiture

BYcycles, skateboards, scooters and rollerblades

Animals, except for certified service animals

Unauthorized weapons of any sort

Open Beverages (coming into or leaving the Festival Grounds)

Solicitation, prothletising or promoting political or religious activities or agendas

Open flames or grills

A limited supply of complimentary sunscreen and bug spray is available to patrons at the Festival Command Post.  Additional necessities can be purchased at the Albertsons Market store located on the Festival grounds near the Information Booth.

Alcoholic beverage sales end thirty minutes prior to event closing. 

Addison Kaboom Town! is a rain or shine event.  Music acts and air show may be postponed due to inclement weather, but will not be rescheduled for an alternative weekend. 

 

FOOD & BEVERAGES
There will be plenty of food and beverage booths at the Addison Circle Park watching party, including hamburgers, hot dogs, barbecue, chicken sandwiches, cotton candy, ice cream, beer, wine, soft drinks, water and much more, or pick up food to go at one of the Addison Circle restaurants. You can also bring along a picnic basket with food and beverages from home (beer and wine is allowed, but no glass bottles or hard liquor please).

 

PARKING
FREE parking is located in the parking garages located on Arapaho Road at the Dallas Parkway and Addison Circle Drive at Dallas Parkway.  Handicap parking is available at the DART Transit Center,
4925 Arapaho Road.

VIDEO AND PHOTOGRAPHY
Video surveillance cameras are used in Addison Circle Park.

An official photographer will be taking photos throughout the festivals grounds so patrons attending the event may be pictured in event marketing materials. 

Patrons may not photograph or videotape the headline musical acts on the Dos Equis Main Stage.

 

FESTIVAL COUPONS AND AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINES
Participating concessionaires accept cash for food and beverage items so festival coupons are not required.  Several Automated Teller Machines (ATM's) are available throughout the festival grounds.  Please look in the event brochure for specific locations.  Nominal service charge fees apply. 

 

ACCESSIBILITY
Festival grounds are accessible with paved pathways throughout Addison Circle Park.  Ample seating is available for festival patrons; however, guest who require special accommodations may contact the event staff at the Information Booth for assistance.  Wheelchairs, electric carts and baby strollers are not available for rent.

 

CONCERTS ON THE DOS EQUIS MAIN STAGE AND OTHER STAGES
All concerts on the Dos Equis Main Stage and Special Guest Stage are presented free of charge to festival patrons.  It is standing room only, so come early for the best viewing.
