SCHEDULE: 9 PM LOCATION: Bowl Stage in Addison Circle Park ADMISSION: Free June 7 We Are Marshall (PG) June 14 The Sandlot (PG) June 21 Seabiscuit (PG-13) June 28 Rocky (PG) July 3 Rudy (PG) (on the main stage after the fireworks) Movie Synopsis We Are Marshall - In Huntington, West Virginia football is life and each season the town comes together to watch Marshall University's Thundering Herd. On one fateful night in 1970, seventy-five members of the football team were killed in a plane crash. This film follows the struggle of those who were left behind to deal with the loss. The Sandlot - "The Sandlot" is a comedy about a summer of friendship and adventure during which one boy becomes part of a team. Nine boys become best friends and their leader becomes a legend by confronting the terrifying mystery beyond the left field fence. Ruff! Ruff! Seabiscuit - This true story based on a best-selling book tells the story of a group of the unlikeliest of heroes. It would seem that pairing a knobbly-kneed horse with a half-blind ex-boxer jockey would lead only to last place. Instead this unsung duo became a winning combination that inspired and intrigued a nation suffering the hardships of the Great Depression. Rocky - In 1976, when ROCKY, a low-budget film with an unknown actor named Sylvester Stallone, won the Academy AwardŽ for Best Picture, it was as emotional a finale as the film itself. A two-bit boxer gets a second chance in life by being offered an impossible shot at the heavyweight title. The story of how Rocky goes the distance is one of the warmest, most exciting, and stirring movies of all time. Rudy - The uplifting true story of how one young man, Rudy Ruettiger (Sean Astin), refuses to limit his dreams or bow to reality as he pursues his lifelong goal - to wear the uniform, if only for one down, of the Notre Dame football team.
