Addison Police Officers Promoted

On Friday, January 26, family, friends, and fellow officers gathered for a promotional ceremony for Sergeant Phillips, Lieutenant Helton, and Captain Smetzer. Also there to show their support were Mayor Bruce Arfsten, Mayor Pro Tempore Eileen Resnik, City Council Members Nancy Craig and Marlin Willesen, City Manager David Gaines, and Deputy City Manager Passion Hayes. Police Chief Paul Spencer shared personal stories of each officer's dedication to Addison after he swore them in. Congratulations to Sergeant Phillips, Lieutenant Helton, and Captain Smetzer, and thank you for your service to Addison.
