The Storm Drainage System Assessment and Capital Improvement Program prepared for the Town of Addison by Halff Associates in August 2017 identified improvements that are needed in the Rawhide Creek Drainage Basin.

This project includes the design of drainage and ADA improvements along the residential streets of Waterside Court, Waterford Drive, Les Lacs Avenue, Beau Park Lane, and Brookwood Lane. The drainage improvements will follow the trail south from Brookwood Lane and run west along the linear park connecting to the existing storm drain system at Marsh Lane.

All storm sewer pipes have been successfully installed, and the restoration of the street pavement is swiftly underway. We anticipate finishing the entire street pavement within the next two weeks. Once this milestone is achieved, the contractor will install the storm trap system adjacent to Marsh Lane and commence landscaping and restoration efforts.

Those required to have driveway work performed adjacent to ADA improvements will be contacted directly by staff to coordinate this work.

March 2023:

The construction contractor is currently installing the stormwater lines in the trail area around Beau Park, Brookwood Lane, and Marsh Lane. They will then proceed north up Les Lacs Avenue. The contractor will begin the installation of the underground detention structure adjacent to Marsh Lane in April. Estimated project completion in the fall of 2023.
