The name Kampai comes from a Japanese toast that is akin to "skoal" or "to your health".  So you could say this is a Japanese "Cheers".  It is nestled in a chi-chi shopping, dining, residential neighborhood in Addison.  Kampai is hip and contemporary, yet cozy and intimate; a symbiosis that's difficult to achieve.
