Initially mezzes were a few olives, dolmades, hummus and bread served at Greek tavernas on small plates consumed by friends with a glass of wine or ouzo.  Now they are just about any kind of food served in small portions.  At Volos, mezzes are meant to be enjoyed as a meal...select a variety of tastes and share.  Opa!
