Rotary Clubs Present Check for Santa's Heroes

Before Thanksgiving, the Rotary Club of Addison and the Rotary Club of Addison Midday teamed up to host a Pancake Breakfast to raise money for Santa's Heroes. On Tuesday, December 5, the Clubs presented a check for $500 to Assistant Police Chief Mike Vincent, Fire Admin Battalion Chief John Lage, Assistant Fire Chief Fred Calhoun, and Emergency Management Coordinator Julie Winkler. A big thanks to both organizations for supporting this holiday outreach initiative.

The speaker at the meeting was Addison City Manager David Gaines who shared how he became involved in city government and his journey to the Addison City Manager's Office.
