Public Meeting Kicks Off Comprehensive Plan Update Process

Thank you to all who attended the first set of community events for the Advance Addison 2050 Comprehensive Plan project! On October 17, the project team visited with residents at the City Sips & Scoop event at Java and Hopps to discuss how the Advance Addison project will help the community craft a shared vision for the future of Addison. Thank you to the 60+ individuals who attended the Community Kickoff event on October 18 and shared their thoughts on what they love about Addison and how our community might:

• Revitalize aging buildings and commercial centers
• Provide quality housing options for everyone
• Improve connectivity and walking/cycling options
• Enhance and increase our supply of public spaces
• Attract and retain businesses and their workforce
