As Mayor of Addison, I am honored to welcome you to North Texas’ most dynamic, business-friendly community. Addison understands business, and I am confident to say that our city government is here to support your business endeavors and facilitate your success in our community. We are dedicated to a pro-business atmosphere that encourages communication and teamwork between businesses and government leaders.

Our community’s robust economic growth has transcended into a strong business culture alive with entrepreneurial spirit and “can do” attitude. The fact that we encompass roughly four square miles with exceptional transportation access to all points in the Metroplex provides a unique environment unmatched by other communities in North Texas. Strategic location is one reason we have an inventory of over 11 million square feet of quality office space, 200 restaurants, and 22 hotels with over 3,000 rooms. Adding to the quality services available to local businesses is the existence of Addison Airport—Texas’ busiest general aviation airport serving corporate fleets and recreational users.

Addison's ability to tap into a quality labor force is crucial to our success. For this reason, our local government has taken a proactive approach to develop a town with a strong sense of place that would attract a highly skilled labor force. Developments such as Addison Circle and Vitruvian Park have not only become a desired location to live but a focal point for some of North Texas’ major events such as nationally recognized Addison Kaboom Town!®, Oktoberfest, and Taste Addison, just to name a few. While our resident population is approximately 16,661, during any given day, over 120,000 people come to Addison to work and enjoy our quality venues.
