Are you interested in serving on the Planning and Zoning Commission or Board of Zoning Adjustment, or as a Community Partner? Applications for these volunteer opportunities are now available and will be accepted until 5pm on November 30.

The Community Partners Bureau is comprised of residents appointed by the Council to represent the Town of Addison with its Community Partners (non-profit organizations). The Council will be considering the following liaison appointments:

  • Dallas Cat Lady: The mission of the Dallas Cat Lady is to reduce the homeless cat population through fostering, adoptions, and trap-neuter-release in the Dallas area.
  • Metrocare Services: The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Metrocare provides quality, accessible, and comprehensive mental health care to post-9/11 veterans, service members, and their families.
  • Metrocrest Services:  Metrocrest Services is focused on assisting families, individuals, and senior adults who are coping with crisis situations, need help stabilizing their lives, or require support to live independently.
  • Woven Health Clinic: Woven Health Clinic is a charitable clinic that provides free and low-cost health care services for people who live in Dallas, Carrollton, Coppell, Addison, and Farmers Branch who cannot afford it.

Council will discuss appointments at its December 12 meeting. Please direct any questions to City Secretary Irma Parker at 972-450-7017 or iparker@addisontx.gov. Apply here.
