Saying Goodbye is Hard to Do

On Tuesday, January 9, the City Council held a small reception to recognize the retirement of City Secretary Irma Parker to thank her for her dedication to the Addison community. Parker was appointed in June of 2018 and has been an integral part of the executive team managing Addison's records retention program, responding to open records requests, documenting Council meetings, actions, and activities, and so much more.

Assistant to the City Manager Valencia Garcia has been named as Interim City Secretary effective January 12.
